Ready or not, here we go! Track season is just around the corner, and we hope you are as excited about it being here as we are!
Salem Hills Track & Field is growing, and we are looking forward to taking our program to the next level this season. In order to do that, we need you with us! We want any and all comers to come on out and be part of the fun!
We will be holding an INFORMATION MEETING on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND after school. We will meet in the cafeteria at 3:00 pm. Don't miss it! We will begin PRACTICE on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH and will practice every day at 3:00 pm. Come be part of the excitement!

End of Season Party
Well, we've finished another great season, and it's time to celebrate! We will be having our end of season party for all athletes and their parents on Thursday! We hope you all can attend!
When: Thursday, May 20th
Time: 6:00 pm
Who: All members of the Track Team and their parents
Where: Salem Pond Pavilion (Knoll Park)
What: Hot Dog Roast, chips, drinks, desserts, etc.
Why: To commemorate, celebrate, reminisce and rejuvenate... do we really need a reason?

Results and Changes
Our season at Salem Hills has been progressing excellently. Both teams have been showing incredible improvement in a lot of areas, and as a result we have been able to see some team success along the way!
One major change to our schedule is that the Bulldog Invitational we had scheduled for this weekend will not be happening after all. The coach decided not to host it this year. As a result, we will have this Saturday off--which is probably okay since it's Prom! However, to give us another chance to race, we have added a 3-way meet on FRIDAY, APRIL 23rd at Provo High instead. It will be us, Provo and Judge Memorial I believe. It is an open-registration meet, which means you can run in whatever you'd like! So be sure to be there this Friday afternoon!

Mt. Timpanogos Invitational
Congratulations to the Salem Hills Track Teams for a great weekend at the Mt. Timpanogos Invitational! After two days of somewhat crummy weather the Skyhawks came away with some great performances and team results, despite missing most of our Seniors on Friday. The Boys' team finished 4th (out of 13 teams) and our girls finished in 2nd PLACE!!! Great job everyone! The results are right HERE.
This week we have two meets--we have a 4-way meet at Maple Mountain on Tuesday with MMHS, Spanish Fork, and Juab. Then, on Saturday we will be at the Alpha Invitational at Timpanogos High School. We look forward to another week of PR's and team improvement!
