On Friday, we will be traveling to Juab High School for the Juab Invitational.  We will miss 4th & 5th periods for this meet, so please get with your teachers and make sure you've got everything taken care of prior to this meet.  It starts at 1:00, so the bus will leave at 11:30.  This meet is limited to 4 athletes per event, so not everyone will be invited to this meet, unfortunately...

Mountain Valley Invite

We had a great meet last night at the Mountain Valley Invitational at Maple Mountain High School!  It was great seeing so many of you working so hard and performing so well!  We had a handful of athletes who achieved State Qualifying marks.  They were (off the top of my head, so sorry if I miss someone):
-Andrea Hale and Cheyanne Deeben in the High Jump
-Sophie Hartline in the Long Jump
-Ty Anderson and Porter Gustin in the Javelin
-The boys 4x100 relay (Trevor Gasser, Coulson Boggess, Blake Taylor and Josh Borkman)

We had several others who are REALLY close to qualifying, and we look forward to another great meet this weekend to get some more Qualifiers!!!  We appreciate everyone's hard work and dedication.  It is starting to pay off!

Let the Season Begin!

We finally got our 1st meet of the season under our belts.  We moved it from Tuesday to Thursday in hopes of having some nicer weather, and MAN, what a great move that was!  It was gorgeous weather yesterday!  In the midst of the beautiful weather, we also had a GREAT first track meet against Spanish Fork and Springville.  We had a ton of great performances out of our athletes, and we now have a starting point for improvement as we move forward through the season.  Now the real work begins as we work each day to improve ourselves in our various events and improve our collective team as we progress through the remainder of the season.  It's going to require hard-work and commitment, but we feel confident we can have a great season!  Let's go get it done!
